A Little About Myself. Hi there! I'm Milana Weber and I'm a student enrolled in the Early Childhood Education Program at Conestoga College. I chose to study Early Childhood Education because I love to work with young children and I am fascinated by how children develop and flourish. I grew up as the oldest child with four younger siblings, being nine years older than the next oldest child I witnessed my other siblings grow and thrive in what they like to do. Growing up with younger children around me all the time has lead me to a goal of working with children professionally. I have experienced two semesters of placement. One being, participating in an observational placement at Doon Lab School, the child care centre at Conestoga's main Kitchener Campus and the other was participating in-person at Ayr Early Learning Centre working with both toddlers and preschoolers. Within these placement I have received high quality guidance from ECE professors and my cooperating educator. In upcoming semesters I hope to find other role models and get more practice as a student educator in community placements. When graduated, I will apply for the Bachelor of Early Learning Development Program at Conestoga, then once graduated from that apply for Teachers College.
